Centralia College Theatre presents "Cabaret" by Kander and Ebb February 16-25 2018.
Auditions will be held during the open season auditions on Sept 20 and 21 from 3-6pm but other times and dates are available upon request.
Season consists of: 1984, Cabaret, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Cabaret rehearsal dates: 12/3- 2/9 (with a 2 week break over the holidays)
Technical rehearsals: 2/12-2-15
Performances: 2/16-2/18; 2/22-2/25 Thursdays through Saturdays at 7pm; Sundays at 2pm.
*PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsals will generally be held in the AFTERNOONS between 3-6pm Mon-Thurs.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Sally Bowles – British singer at the Kit Kat Klub (20s-30s female)
The Emcee (MC: Master of Ceremonies) of the Kit Kat Klub, a leering, ghoulish, flamboyant figure (Could be played by a man or a woman)
Clifford "Cliff" Bradshaw – An American writer traveling through Berlin (20s-30s male)
Fräulein Schneider – An older woman who runs the boarding house that Cliff and Sally live in (40s-70s female)
Herr Schultz – An elderly Jewish fruit shop owner who falls in love with Fraulein Schneider (40s-70s male)
Ernst Ludwig – A German man who befriends Cliff when he arrives in Berlin, later revealed to be a Nazi (20-60s male)
Fräulein Kost – A prostitute who rents in Fraulein Schneider's boarding house
Rosie, LuLu, Frenchie, Texas, Fritzie, and Helga – Girls who perform alongside Sally at the Kit Kat Klub (20s-30s females)
Bobby, Victor, Hans, and Herman – The Cabaret boys of the Kit Kat Klub (20s-30s males)
and several other ensemble roles

Prepare a 2 minute dramatic monologue and 24-36 bars from a musical, preferably in the style of the show.
