Delight Games and SDK Bridge are seeking an audiobook narrator for an audio-based choose-your-own-adventure mobile app. The story, Wizard’s Choice, is written in a classic sword-and-sorcery style, but in second person (i.e., “you”).

Audio will be integrated into software. You can try a free a text-based version of the app for iOS or Android to get a sense of how it will work. Install “Delight Games” from the App Store or Play Store.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Narrator must be able to keep the story engaging but not over-acted, as well as read both male and female characters. Dialog must be integrated in a way that feels natural. Narrator must be able to read with minimal mistakes to reduce editing. If you live near Seattle, we can figure out a location for you to record. If not, you will need to have the ability to record high quality audio yourself.

Audition/Interview Dates:
Email audio file before Aug 6

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
TBD

Audition Requirements:
Create an audio recording where you are reading three short sections at: http://bit.ly/2tSGTux and send to info@sdkbridge.com.
If you are near Seattle, the sound quality of the audition recording is not that important – you are welcome to use your phone to make the recording. Otherwise, you need to have a recording set-up that allows you to record high-quality audio.

Monetary compensation:
Pay is negotiable, but will be approximately $25/hr (labor) for approximately 26,000 words of text to be read.
