“Justice” is a short film that follows a rookie cop named Will, who witnesses police brutality and the moral conflicts that he faces.
Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Will Harris (Lead) - 25-30 years old, Caucasian, male, slim athletic build.
Will is a rookie cop who is emotionally vulnerable to outside influences. He battles a lot of moral conflicts.
Mark Sander (Support) - 35- 40 years old, Caucasian, male, large athletic build.
Mark is a very built and intimidating detective that finds himself hiding from the truth. We are looking for an actor that is 6ft or over for this role.
Chief (Support) - 45-55 year old, Caucasian, male.
Chief is a slightly overset male that likes to know everything and being control. He does not like letting his ship/ station run out of control.
Justice – 20-25 year old, African American, female.
Justice is average built female that finds herself in a messy situation as she makes her way home from college.
Matt Smith – 40-45 years old, African American, male.
Justice’s father; a man that confronts an officer that has hurt his daughter.
Dan – 30-35 years old, Caucasian, male, average build.
Police officer who is Will’s current partner.
Plaintiff’s Attorney – 40-50 years old, Caucasian, male.
Lawyer that represents Justice’s family.
Defendant’s Attorney - 40-50 years old, Caucasian, male.
Lawyer that defends an officer’s actions.
Judge – 50-55 years old, female or male, any ethnicity.
Judge who oversees the case in the courtroom.
