Looking for 4 Queer People of Color to star in a fictional web series about a local LGBTQ+ band, self-acceptance, and activism.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Hayliee is a hardworking student with a job to pay for rent in the house which is the band's practice space. Being financially and emotionally stressed is constantly at the back of their mind. They start off as quiet and depressed, but over time come out of their shell, as they become more comfortable with their bandmates. They are super anxious and fear of making the wrong choices. Due to a bad coming out with their parents (in relation to sexuality), they fear coming out (in relation to gender), leading to being misgendered constantly in the beginning. Hayliee plays the guitar.
18-25 years old, female/transgender, person of colour, non binary, agender

Ash is gender fluid and proud about it. They are very confident. Ash is the extroverted one, easily making them the manager of the band. Ash is also the lead vocals of the band. They always know what they're doing in their life and know they are going to be successful one day as it comes to their values. Ash is heavily involved with the music industry as well as in activist movements. To deal with anxiety, and the uncertainty of the future, they keep themselves super busy. Ash is ultimately about the collective work that can be made toward change, rather than an individualistic hero model.
18-25 years old, transgender, person of colour, genderfluid

Micah is the bandmate that some would call “annoying,” but she defends as being a bit more carefree and playful. She enjoys playing other people's instruments even if she has no idea how to play them, but her main instrument is the keyboard. She doesn't think before speaking and is probably the richest one of the group. Because of that, her parents often left her alone at home a lot while they worked, making Micah anxious about being left alone as a young adult. Deep down, Micah has good intentions and a sweet heart, especially with her crush, Frankie. She’s fast paced, but slows down a bit to better connect with her fellow band members (Frankie).
18-25 years old, female, person of colour

Frankie is a work-study student studying business. She is the band’s drummer. She is quiet and thoughtful, channelling her concerns into a careful consideration of all the options before she speaks on them, considering herself to be more cool headed than those around her. Some members of the band (Micah) make this more difficult for her. Ultimately she learns to be more carefree. Besides school, her focus is primarily on taking care of her younger sister. While she is in fairly good terms with her identity as a gay individual, her family is not so accepting. She likes to impress other people with random fun, gay facts.
18-25 years old, female, person of colour

Theatre and/or musical experience preferred.
