This will be a divised theatre project. A small group will create a new work for a limited run. Possibly taking it to other venues later.
This work will explore the ideas of community, fear (due to the current administration), and how we deal with the pain of life. We may also include themes having to deal with gender, sexual orientation, race and the ways people may feel empowered and disenfranchised at the same time by their identity.
This performance should be fun, exciting, and a place to explore. It will be in itself a protest in nature and an exploratory work of art. Rehersals will be a very open process and might remind people "fondly" of a theatre class rather than a rehearsal. People need to come with open minds and hearts.
