The love story of Luke who believes in God, Adam who doesn’t, and what happens when both a religious family and a tragic coma come between them. Nominated in 2010 for both the Tony and Drama Desk Award for best play, Fantastic.Z Theatre presents this tender tale of hope and family at the Ballard Underground September 29th through October 14th.

As always, actors of color and transgender artists are strongly encouraged to audition for Fantastic.Z Theatre.

 

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Adam: 30’s +. A substitute teacher and Luke’s boyfriend who does not believe in God.

Luke: 20’s - early 30’s. An actor and Adam’s religious boyfriend who is still in the closet with his family.

Holly: 30’s. The best friend.

Brandon: 20’s - early 30’s. The passable and closeted friend.

Arlene: 50’s . Lukes’ mother. Divorced from Butch.

Butch: 50’s+. Luke’s religious father. Divorced from Arlene.

Audition/Interview Dates:
Wednesday April 19th 6pm-8pm

Audition Requirements:
prepare a short contemporary monologue
