A western/horror short film based off the Latin tale of an owl-witch.
Student Production for The Seattle Film Institute

Shoot Dates: Mid to Late April 2017 Locations: Olympia, WA & Mt. Hood, OR *One Overnight weekend stay required* Room/Board provided


Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Aletta: Mysterious and alluring young woman. Will turn into a monstrous character at end. **Dark-haired female in 20s range with capability of Spanish accent portrayal.
Of Hispanic origin preferred. Costume/Makeup FX will be applied.

Sheriff Ben: Wholesome protagonist cowboy/sheriff and love interest for Aletta. **20-30s male with preference for light haired/fair skin tone types.

Rosemarie: owner of saloon/brothel. A woman of wit and grit. **20-50s female with preference for curvy build. Tattoos are a plus.

Mr. Murphy: husband/new father. Simple but out spoken man. Antagonist. **20-30s male.

Mrs. Murphy: wife/new mother. Quiet turned scorned woman. Antagonist. **20-30s female. Will be handling prop gun in final shootout scene.

Minor roles needed: young female brothel worker, pastor, townspeople/bar patrons.

Please come prepared with a monologue. We will send you script sides when you are scheduled for the audition as well.

Monetary compensation:
Room and board will be paid for for an overnight. Food will be provided on set, but no other monetary compensation is available.
