Skagit River Shakespeare Festival takes place every summer in the beautiful Skagit Valley, at the Rexville-Blackrock Amphitheater. We are the longest running Shakespeare Festival in Washington state at over 15 years. This season we will be doing "The Comedy of Errors", Christopher Marlowe's "Edward II" and an original Shakespeare in the Parks show " Once Upon a Shakespearean Tale".


Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Edward II requires partial to full male nudity for the 2 Edwards. Negotiable upon casting.

Audition/Interview Dates:
10 minute slots Saturday, March 18th Mount Vernon, Goodwill Confrence Room ( inside, back of store on the right), Mount Vernon times: 1-3pm Please email for appointment slot

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
CALLBACKS will be Sunday March 19th in Mount Vernon, SVC Phil Taro Theater 1-6pm

Audition Requirements:
Prepare 2 contrasting 1 minute monologues
1 should be Shakespeare or heightened language

Be prepared to show us a talent, impression or silly human trick! Tell us a joke!

Please be prepared to move.

Monetary compensation:
We are an all volunteer organization. Unfortunately we are not able to offer compensation. We do encourage and arrange carpooling.
