Showtunes Theatre Company produces concernt versions of musicals to showcase the musical story telling. SHOWTUNES’s production of The Unsinkable Molly Brown will not be cast traditionally or historically and is open to all actors. In particular, the role of Molly Brown will be played by multiple actresses, and the role is open to women of different age, height, weight, ethnicity, and whatever else normally categorizes actors into specific types. We are more concerned with capturing the spirit of an American folk hero through multiple perspectives. If Molly as usually cast seems like who you are inside but not necessarily what you look like, please come audition! We are looking for you! The cast will all perform as an ensemble covering multiple roles throughout the show.
