About the Show:
The story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister's child. Valjean decides to break his parole and start his life anew after a kindly bishop inspires him to, but he is relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert. Along the way, Valjean and a slew of characters are swept into a revolutionary period in France, where a group of young idealists make their last stand at a street barricade. Starring Louis Hobson and directed by our Founder and Executive Director, Jake Groshong, this won’t be the large, complex production you’re used to. We’re going to look at Les Mis through a completely new artistic lens, performing an intensely intimate production in the 160-seat Erickson Theatre.

Audition Requirements:
Actors will also be sent song selections from the show and will asked to perform one. We also ask that actors be prepared to sing a piece from a different musical. Not all performers will be asked to sing additional pieces. Bring a headshot/resume and sheet music for your song. No a cappella singing will be permitted.

AEA Guest Contracts available. Non-equity actors will receive a stipend.
