eSe Teatro: Seattle Latinos Take Stage presents its first mainstage show, Oedipus El Rey by Luis Alfaro at ACT Theatre. Directed by Gisela Cardenas (NYC), TCG director's award winner 2010. |

Audition Information

Audition/Interview Dates:
Email for further instruction. Auditions will be by video as director is not local. |
Audition Requirements:
Classical monologue preferably Shakespeare or Greek. Video should show whole body so the viewer gets an idea of movement. |
Describe any monetary compensation:
Actors will receive a $250 stipend as well as a percentage of the net profit.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Seeking 1 male chorus member, playable age range 25-35, will play multiple roles but is mainly a prisoner in the criminal justice system. It is not necessary for actors to be Latino but the script has a number of Spanish phrases actors should be comfortable with or prepared to practice.

Due to the director only being in town for a short period of time all rehearsals are mandatory. Rehearsals are as follows
Nov.12-30
Weeknights 5pm-10pm
Saturdays 10am-6pm
Sundays 11am-5pm
Thanksgiving will be a day off
For tech actors will be called
12/2 all day
12/3-12/5 4pm-11pm
