Audition Location:
Auditions will be held at TPS unless otherwise noted in confirmation email.

We are presenting two original one-act plays: The Night Before Christmas by Sean Griffin and Incidental Contact by Jesse Putnam.

 

Other details:
Rehearsals begin November 3rd and will be held in Seattle. There may be table work the previous week depending on actor availability.

Production to be held at TPS. Six shows: December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16. (with a possible preview on the 6th)

 

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Three men, two women, one young girl (casting both plays).

The Night Before Christmas:
Santa: (any age) melancholy; disillusioned; guilt ridden
Reindeer: (any age) strong willed; no nonsense
Dad: (30 - 45yo) milquetoast; kid-at-heart
Mom: (30 - 45yo) even toned; calm under pressure
Cindy: (8 - 14yo) happy; hopeful; innocent

Incidental Contact:
Girl: (8 - 14) Caucasian: middle class, pre-maturely heartbroken
Woman: (40 - 70) African-American: wise, mysterious, lightning with a sewing needle
Business Man: (over 30) Caucasian, Asian or Latino: All business, the market (and my tie) is king
Two walk-through characters: preferably one woman / one man.

Audition/Interview Dates:
Saturday, October 6th from 3 - 7 pm

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
Actors may be asked to stay to read sides.

Audition Requirements:
Prepare a two minute monologue. Sides will be provided for those asked to read.

Monetary compensation:
A modest stipend is offered to actors. Profits from the show will be shared among cast and crew.
