PROJECT: “JIM JONES”, “WARREN JEFFS”, “DAVID BERG”, “DOC”
We are producing a reality TV show that will feature dramatic stories of individuals that have survived dangerous and traumatic experiences while living in cults. We are re-creating how they came to be in the cults, and how they eventually escaped from their captors. It will air on a national cable network later this year. We are looking for actors who are willing and interested in playing the role of the CULT LEADERS in the reenactments. There are 4 different parts - Please look at photos online of the cult leaders!

AUDITIONS:
Auditions will be scheduled by appointment in the next week. No monologue or special preparation needed.

All auditions will be conducted at our production office at:
5950 6th Ave S, Suite 109
Seattle, WA 98108

COMPENSATION:
$150/day for the shoot, as our production budget is small. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided on set.

BREAKDOWN:
“JIM JONES” of Jonestown
Male Actor – Caucasian, dark brown/black hair, brown eyes. Age early 40’s to late 50’s, average height, medium build.

“WARREN JEFFS” of FLDS
Male Actor – Caucasian, light brown hair, brown eyes. Age early 40’s to mid 50’s. Height 6’ or taller, slender build.

“DAVID BERG” of The Children of God/The Family
Male Actor – Caucasian, gray hair, blue eyes. Age mid 50’s to mid 70’s. Average height or smaller, weight 140-175.

“DOC” – this cult leader is not famous, so no photo of him
Male Actor – Caucasian, white or gray hair. Age mid 50’s to late 60’s. Athletic build, average height/weight.

*very minimal spoken dialogue, if any, will be involved in the reenactments
*Shoot days are TBD – likely in September. 1-3 day commitment.
