Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Casting at the Seattle Film Institute. September 12, 13, 14. 16mm dramatic film short. Male lead: DEREK, a boxer dealing with his mother’s declining health, age 20 to 30, physically fit, athletic, any boxing experience a plus. Female supporting: JANIE, age 20 to 30. 2 male supporting roles: DR. STEVENS, age 30 to 50 and MILES age 55 to 65. Also, 2 non-speaking supporting roles: CAEL, a boxer, age 20 to 30, physically fit and HOPE, Derek’s Mom, age 45-55, character is in coma for majority of the film, need to be able to keep very still.
