Project Description:
TMP is taking appointments for auditions for youth roles in the upcoming holiday production, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Auditions open to youth with UNCHANGED (treble) voices who are age 8-16 years at the time of the audition. An appointment is required to audition at TMP. |

Audition Information

Audition/Interview Dates:
Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11 am |
Audition Requirements:
Auditions for youth actors age 8-16 AT THE TIME OF AUDITION with unchanged (treble) voices.
Prepare one song from musical theater. Should not be too long, just one verse and one chorus is sufficient. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist is provided. No a cappella or recorded accompaniment auditions. Headshot (or school photo) and résumé helpful but not required. An appointment is required to audition at TMP.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Auditioning for the following roles:
Friedrich, appears age 14
Louisa, appears age 13
Kurt, appears age 11
Brigitta, appears age 10
Marta, appears age 7
Gretl, appears age 5
All roles are open.
TMP's The Sound of Music will run for 4 weekends (minimum 15 performances) from Thanksgiving weekend through December 16th.
