The Temperamentals recounts the founding of The Mattachine Society, the first sustained gay rights organization in the United States, told through the love affair between Harry Hay and Rudi Gernreich. |

All Roles Open:
Harry Hay: 39, pushy, gruff, blustery, and imperious
Rudi Gernreich: 29, interestingly handsome, wildly charming, speaks with a trace of a Viennese accent. Actor also plays a woman.
Three Men of various ages to play multiple roles each
• One man plays the ukulele
• One man plays the clarinet
• All three men play a woman
