Neil Simon's comedy about two aged vaudevillian actors who haven't spoken to each other in over ten years. Willie Clark and Al Lewis used to be one of the most sought-after comedy teams in America. After a fight a decade before, the two stopped speaking to each other entirely. Now, an opportunity to revive one of their old comedy routines on a national television program puts them face-to-face for the first time.
Character Breakdown / Project Needs
We are looking for one African-American woman.
The character is Ms. O'Neill; a 50-ish no-nonsense registered nurse, caring
for a cantankerous old actor in New York. She is only in one scene of the
play, but is featured heavily in that scene.
Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons and Tues-Thurs evenings, also in Everett.
If interested, please email current headshot and resume to
auditionrcf@gmail.com
Audition/Interview Dates:
This is to fill a role of a show already in rehearsal: We will be interviewing, but no audition needed.
Audition Requirements:
If you have a prepared comedic monologue, that would be great.
Monetary compensation:
This is a community theatre project, so there is no pay.
