Project Description:
As part of Arts Crush 2012 Brownbox Theatre will present POOF! by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage. POOF!, a short play written in 1993, tells the story of a housewife coping with life a few moments after her abusive husband spontaneously combusts, leaving a pile of ash on the kitchen floor. POOF! will presented as a site-specific work in the "working kitchen" of the Rainier Valley Cultural Center (please note the performance is around 20 minutes long). Directed by Tyrone Brown.
