Project Description:
“In 1868, lawless Laramie, Wyoming was a cliche of cowboy westerns, until a women’s vigilante group swept through town, cleaned it up, and gave it women’s rights.”

Written by Seattle based Playwright Leonard D. Goodisman and Directed by Rik Deskin. Previews September 27. Runs through October 28. Thu-Sat at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Audition/Interview Dates:
Saturday, August 11. Email for appointment

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
Sunday, August 12.

Audition Requirements:
Prepare two contrasting monologues. Contemporary and/or classic.

Describe any monetary compensation:
$200 Stipend ONLY after ticket sales threshold is met.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Maggie – A woman in Laramie, 1868
Gwen – Her daughter, 9 years old
Jake – Her husband
Bill Stanton – Hotel/saloon owner and town entrepreneur.
Louisa – an older Laramie woman.
Lucy – Maggie’s younger friend and mother of Gwen’s friend Sarah.
Mary Boswell – Maggie’s acquaintance.
Non-specific cowboys 1 and 2, later cowboy 3.
