Quiet is pleased to announce auditions for our upcoming production of the musical PIPPIN music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson. This is the final piece to our season "All or Nothing: stories if the disillusioned, disenfranchised, and displaced."

PIPPIN will be Directed by Josh Hornbeck and will run at the Richard Hugo House. November 28th - Dec 8th 2012.

We are exited to be tackling this work from a fresh perspective. We are looking to cast an ensemble of actors who have many talents. What can you do that no one else can?
Specifically seeking actors who -

Have experience w/musical instruments. (Mandolin, purcussion, the spoons, harmonica, accordion, etc)

Have circus or clowning experience. (Juggling, contortionist, magic)

ALL quirky, amazing, and unique skills welcome!

Auditions will be held over three days. We will be located at the ARMORY at Seattle Center (Center House). We will be on the first floor in the Black Box.

General auditions - Aug 20th from 6-9pm. Please bring one monologue 16 - 32 bars of a song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring the sheet music that is easy to read and in your key.

Callbacks - Aug 21st and 22nd also from 6-9pm.

All rehearsals will be @ TPS and begin on September 17th 2012. The rehearsal schedule is as follows M-W 7-10pm and Sat 10-3pm. Quiet pays a stipend of $75 dollars for the entirety of the process.

Run of Show - November 29th - Dec 8th

Please note the role of the Lead Player has been cast. At this time we also are not using children for the show and the role of THEO will be played by an adult actor. All actors must be at least 18+.

All other roles, including the title role, are open.
