Project Description:
Seeking 20-25 actors to be involved in a unique theater experience.

It is nearing the end of the harvest, the days are growing darker, there is a chill in the air and 4 teenagers are lost in the woods. Little do they know that all their decisions are really being controlled by power hungry supernatural factions, themselves on the brink of war. Add in forbidden love, drugs, a hopeless acting troupe and a Harvest party, and you have a mystical, creepy, dangerous, terrifying, hilarious and unique theater experience perfect for the Halloween time of year.

This production, part of our Stage Frights series, will not be your typical Dream. This is a dark show. It will feature scenes of cannibalism, pack mentality, sacrifice, drugs and abject fear and succumbing to the dark in the face of uncertainty. Please be willing to move out of your comfort zone.

August 25 11AM-7PM

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
Call backs will be held August 26 from 1PM-4PM.

Audition Requirements:
1 Shakespearean monologue, verse, prose or sonnet.
If you can sing, please prepare a few measures of a tune to sing, Nursery rhymes, kids songs and Star Spangled Banner work just fine.

Please bring an extra headshot/resume to audition and come prepared to cold read and take direction on your audition piece.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
We are seeking 20-25 actors of all character types, shapes and sizes (Though, due to the graphic nature of the interpretation, you must be over 18).

All roles are open. Some actors may be required to portray multiple roles.

THIS IS A DARK INTERPRETATION. ALL ACTORS MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH VIOLENT, MATURE AND SUGGESTIVE SCENES. NO NUDITY WILL EVER BE REQUIRED.

Specific submission instructions:
Please list a time you would prefer for auditions. If you have time restrictions, or conflicts with either August 25 or 26, please let us know. Call backs will be group focused, but we will do our best to accomodate.

Other details you need to know about these auditions:
Rehearsals will take place Tuesdays through Thursdays and encompassing at least one weekend day rehearsal a week.

Performance Dates are October 26, 27, 31 November 1, 2, 3 in Theater 4 at the TPS Centerhouse.
