Cardenio by William Shakespeare (mostly)
Directed by Tony Driscoll, stunning director of the original Hard Bard Titus Andronicus
GreenStage is casting for its Hard Bard Cardenio. This is indoor 'extreme' classical theatre with an emphasis on lots of blood, fighting, sex and insanity. Audition Information

Audition Requirements:
Please prepare ONE Shakespearean monologue, preferably verse, but prose is acceptable.
Maximum of 2 minutes total in length.
Bring a headshot/resume to audition and come prepared to take direction on your audition piece. |
Describe any monetary compensation:
All actors receive a stipend

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
We are looking for actors and musician/actors who can handle getting out of their comfort zone without losing their intensity and the text; folks with a good sense of humor and a willingness to work; classical text experience, musical ability, stage combat, movement and acrobatic skills are a plus.
