Project Description:
For Summer Semester the 'Directing Actors For Film' class (CMST 294)will be directing two short scenes that the students from the 2012 Spring Semester 'Script Writing' class wrote. (CMST 216 Script Writing for film, Video & Multimedia).

The class is in need of actors. This is non-paying and for
educational purposes for Bellevue College and for the benefit of these future local filmmakers.

July 9, 2012, 1:30pm

Actors who are cast will receive a DVD of their scene.

Auditions are scheduled for Monday, July 9th at 1:30pm in Building R,
Room 205,
on the Main Campus of Bellevue College located at 3000 Landerholm
Circle SE, Bellevue, WA 98007. Park in visitors parking.

The class only meets once a week on Mondays from 1:30pm to 3:20pm.


Bellevue College is into their 2012 summer semester and the Film
Studies and Movie Making Program, which is part of Communication
Studies (CMST) in Arts and Humanities, is starting their 'Directing
Actors For Film' class, (CMST 294) that is offered to student
directors/filmmakers in their Movie Making Program. The head of the
program is my old film professor, Academy Award winning director,
Michael Korolenko.

The class is in need of actors. This is non-paying and for
educational purposes for Bellevue College's Filmmaking Program and for the benefit of these future local filmmakers under the guidance of Mr. Korolenko. Actors who are cast will receive a DVD of their scene. They will be doing the filming on a day most convenient to everyone and the shoots shouldn't take very long.

They will be holding auditions (not only for the purposes of casting but also so the student directors/filmmakers can experience the audition process). Actors giving their feedback is strongly encouraged as part of the learning process for these student directors/filmmakers.
