SYNOPSIS:
It’s the end of the world in this heart stopping sci-fi thriller from creator, producer and screenwriter Marty Mcmasters. Save the Last One is the story of two unsuspecting families who receive word that a nuclear holocaust has begun. With time running out, both the Callaghan’s and Guthrie’s are thrust into a world of raw instinct when the only chance for survival lies in a tonic created by the United States Government: Phylenthium. Rumored to place its user in a death like state for exactly one year, but it’s not without risk. Everyone who has taken the serum in the past has died five years later. Meanwhile Marissa Guthrie decides to leave her family out of fear of her husband; the unpredictable and dangerous Duncan whose grip on reality is fading fast. But will she leave her son Ewan and daughter Fiona alone with a maniac? Meanwhile Seamus Callaghan makes a desperate decision: to administer the tonic to his daughter Julie and bury her alive with a radio beacon for one year. But that won’t be easy. Duncan, his wife Patty Callaghan, and the enigmatic stranger from Mexico Raphael Bautista, all have different plans. When a deadly brawl breaks out between Duncan and Raphael, it leaves Seamus’ plans shattered. And with no hope for the future and a deadly secret of his own, Seamus must somehow fulfill his plans before all hell breaks loose. What happens next is a shocking twist of atomic proportions.
